Hi there! Christa here. How’s it going? Hope your day is going good. I’m here to tell you a little bit about me. Here goes…

I’m Canadian… which means I wear toques, eat poutines, and apparently say “about” funny. I use Celsius in the winter and Fahrenheit in the summer. When I’m not hiding out in my igloo, I’m waving across the Windsor-Detroit border. No, I’ve never seen an igloo before. I live at the southernmost point in Ontario, Canada, across from Ohio. We experience four wonderful seasons ranging from “whew, it’s hot” to “fuck it’s cold”. Pardon my french, but I do require a full vocabulary to express myself. When I travel south, everyone mistakes me for french. My grandmother speaks it fluently, but I do not. The unsuspecting locals figure that out fast when they see my eyes glazing over. Speaking of eyes glazing over, I do work full time in civil law, but I’m not here to bore you with the details. I’d much prefer to be listening to music, riding my motorcycle or four wheeler, or reading a paperback on a beach somewhere warm. Yes, that sounds like a plan. My two daughters and husband might have another plan for me, but I like to get what I want. Right now, I want peanut butter cup ice cream. I try to eat healthy on a regular basis, but it can be super hard sometimes! I love carbs. Pasta is my favourite. I don’t restrict my eating, only in portion sizes. Of course I cheat, but only on occasion. That means I’m having the ice cream. Followed by a dark roast coffee–black. Sorry to say I can’t scoop ice cream while I’m sitting here chatting with you, so I have to go. Talk to you later!

P.S. We were out of peanut butter ice cream. Darn kids. Was that some kind of sign you were sending me, world?! I had to go for something healthy instead. It was just as good. Not! Okay, I’m going again. For real this time. Byee!
